Hyderabad Blues,Greens...

My first post since I reached Hyderabad and offourse my first one on my laptop:)

Its now nearly two weeks since I reached hyderabad and I am already feeling at home here (offcourse no substitute for mysore). Joined Deloitte on July 3 and finished with the induction and in training now. Great place...Already got a cubicle and a laptop and a very nice team to work with. Everyone in the team made all the freshers feel very comfortable and drove out most of our paranoidism like how is life in industry? what kinda work will i get? etc.

Now all set to leave the Guest House provided by my company and shift to my new house in the city. House hunting was something I did for the first time coz it was always the onus of my dad to do this job before. Boy! dealing with the brokers out here requires good amount of talent..which I scarcely had:( So, after the initial tailspin and a series of houses which were more suited more for being cyber cafe or warehouses...finally last week we settled for a cool place in the main hyderabad city pretty close to the famous banjara hills. Though the place is around 12 km from my office in hitec city...got no issues thanks to the locality. In a place like mysore 12 km distance is something not easily imaginable..here sab chalta hai!
